This road affords some of the best views of the Ohio River on the byway. The road, which features several picnic tables & a historic lockmaster building, ends at a series of houses that were built in the late 1920s to house lockmasters. These homes, owned & restored by the city of Golconda, provide some of the most unique lodging on the byway, all with excellent views of the river.
